As we age, we naturally lose volume in our face. Cheeks flatten, lines deepen, lips thin out and the jawline loses its definition. It's completely normal, but it can leave you looking more tired than you feel, especially once perimenopause kicks in and collagen loss speeds up.

Dermal fillers are a hyaluronic acid-based injectable treatment that smooths lines, restores lost volume and gently defines your features. Hyaluronic acid is something your skin already makes, so the results look and feel natural. Good filler should never be detectable. People should just think you look well-rested.

Downtime is minimal. You may have some swelling, tenderness or redness for a few days, particularly with lips. As with any injectable treatment, there is a risk of bruising, so I'd avoid booking within two weeks of a big event. I'll talk you through all of this and your aftercare at your consultation.
